How Did We Get Here?

How did we get in the situation where things like Newtown, Boston and Aurora can happen, where children are killed almost daily on the streets of our cities, even toddlers? How did we end up with the most pro-abortion president in the world? How did we become a country where 15 year olds can buy over the counter abortion pills without their parents’ knowledge? How did we become a country that considers pro-life groups terrorists and has started persecuting churches for preaching the gospel?
The problem lies with us. We’ve forgotten our greatest weapons. We’ve forgotten that our enemy really is Satan and He will only be defeated by prayer. We will not win if all we do is political. All the internet petitions, emails, letters to the editor and political donations will never be enough. All the complaining we do will fail unless we back this up with prayer, serious daily prayer.
As Catholics we’ve been gifted with powerful weapons, the most powerful prayers there are the Mass and the Rosary. We need to use these weapons big time. The Rosary has proven to be more powerful than the atomic bomb as proven by the survival of Catholic missionaries near ground zero in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Rosary was instrumental in the defeat of a vastly superior Muslim fleet at Lepanto in the 1500’s, the overthrown of Marcos in 1986 and the fall of the Soviet Union.
If we want to change America we have to pray starting now not in 2016, say the rosary, today everyday until our enemies are defeated.
If you want to protect this country pray.
If you want to save the world pray.
Pray the rosary as often as much as possible.
We have the power to change this country to change this world but we have to use it.
Don’t believe Satan’s lies. Don’t believe that things can’t change or get better. Pray! Every time Satan tells you to quit, say another rosary, each decade is another punch to his midsection. Don’t let him win. Pray!
We are called to be a people of prayer as well as action. We are called to join the fight against Satan. We can not continue to stand on the sidelines.
