We Have A Right To Our Beliefs!

Despite what the media thought of this year’s election not all Trump supporters were ignorant bigots. The reality a large number of his votes came from people of faith who are disgusted and angry over the attempt of non-believers to impose their beliefs on them
Simply put we have a right to our beliefs. We have a right to believe abortion is wrong and vote accordingly. We have a right to believe and state that same-sex marriage is immoral. We have a right to believe that men do not belong in a lady’s room. Just as others have the right to believe we are wrong. Neither of us have the right to impose our beliefs on others.
We have the right to believe as we believe. It is guaranteed by the First Amendment. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion and that the government can not impose its beliefs on us.
This is a right that millions of men have fought for over the course of our history and too many have died defending our freedoms from the likes of Hitler in World War II and communists during the Cold War.
Not only that but we each have to face God when we die. No politician will be there to defend us. The New York Times will have no bearing on how we are judged. At the same time those who are critical of Christians will also face God. He will have the final say.
