Thank You Joe Biden For Calling Me One Of The Dregs Of Society!

I am a miscreant deplorable who supported Trump in 2016. I was not happy about it. I would much rather have supported a Joe Biden who had not abandoned the faith he and I were both raised in.

It is with extreme regret that I vote Republican. I grew up in a working-class union family. I supported Mc Govern, Carter, Mondale , Dukakis, and Bill Clinton. Then I started to vote for 3rd party candidates when the Democratic abandoned all Christian principles.

It is only with extreme distaste that I vote Republican. You give me no choice when you give in to the extremists pushing Abortion. God made you to stand for Him, to speak the truth to this wicked generation. You, Nancy Pelosi, Bill Keane were created so that God would have a Jeremiah for this generation, to speak His truth, no matter the personal cost.

You and others like you are the reason we have this president! You abandoned the faith you were raised in. You betrayed your God. You gave people no choice by failing to stand for truth.

For Greater Glory

A few months ago i saw on DVD the movie, For Greater Glory, starring Raul Julia. Excellent movie something every Christian especially Catholic should see. Around 1926 the President, Calles, decided the Catholic Church to be his political enemy and tried to suppress the faith. Churches were invaded and priests captured were executed on the spot. Mexico was a Catholic country, the last place you would expect this, much more Catholic than the U.S. is presently.
Think about it. If it happened in Mexico it could happen here. Look at the way this country is going. Our last president considered us to be his enemy and did every thing to oppress the Church that he could with his contraception mandate. And we let him get away with it. He was reelected with around 50% of the Catholic vote. How stupid can we be!
The Catholics in Mexico refused to sit by and do nothing. They fought back rebelling after peaceful protests failed. They with political support from the U.S. thanks to pressure from the Knights of Columbus forced Calles to give in and allow the churches to reopen and mass to be said.
We need to follow their example and fight back. Despite the change in the presidency the church is still under attack. The Little Sisters of the Poor are still being forced to pay a penalty or pay for abortion and contraception coverage. President Trump issued an executive order stopping this but the attorney generals of 5 states sued and a Federal Court threw out his order. They don’t care what the Constitution say. They don’t care about the results of the last election. They are still pushing the culture of death and immorality, still going after the faithful. The Lord help us if they actually win the next election

What Will We Say When God Asks Why We Did Nothing?

This Christmas I became involved in a discussion about how bad the world was getting. The gentleman I was talking to felt the world was going to keep changing so we might as well accept it. Accept the increased oppression of religion, the decline in morality, push for unlimited abortion, everything. Obviously I disagreed.
His attitude was you can win so why bother. No matter what you do the world is going to get worse. I felt we might slow the decline at least and save some people. I also feel that based on the Old Testament God might get fed up if we don’t repent. I also know from history that there have been periodic revivals in America.
Yet to me the best reason to fight is that someday I will have to face God. I don’t want to have to tell him that I just sat there and watched the destruction of society and did nothing that I ignored his call to fight with everything I got. To quote Trace Bailin I want to hear Him say well done. If I lose at least I will have fought and stood up for my God.

God Has Given Us A Miracle. Are We Going To Waste It?

The presidential election was definitely miraculous. God gave us a miracle in response to the millions of prayers offered by people of faith. Now what are we going to do with it? The war for our country is not over. As we can tell from the demonstrations going on against the government Satan, the media and radicals are not going to give up. They will fight tooth and nail. We can not win this battle politically. We have to fight spiritually as well or we are fighting the enemy unarmed.
People of faith need to pray desperately now for the conversion of our nation. With the Election God has given us only 4 years. We don’t know what will happen in 2020. We don’t know how many Supreme Court justices, President Trump will get to make. it is a real possibility that justices will choose to hang on until another president takes office.
We need to pray for divine guidance for the president, pray that he make the right decisions, pray that he put aside his ego and listen to his advisors and that he pick the right advisors. We need to pray for his conversion.
We need to pray for Congress, that its members put aside their egos, their desire for publicity, to go on to higher office so that they may work for the good of this country. Pray that the parties work together.
Pray that the members of the Democratic Party turned back to their faith, that they experience God’s love and mercy. Pray by name for the conversion of those who have lost their way, the Obamas, the Clintons etc. These are people loved by God and for whom Jesus died. He desires their salvation.
Pray for the conversion of the media. Pray they stop their service of the evil one with the trash they put out.
Pray for revival in this country, that we recognize our own sinfulness and turn back to God. All of us have fallen short of God’s desire for our lives.
Again the war is not over. We desperately need to pray and pray until miracles happen.

We Have A Right To Our Beliefs!

Despite what the media thought of this year’s election not all Trump supporters were ignorant bigots. The reality a large number of his votes came from people of faith who are disgusted and angry over the attempt of non-believers to impose their beliefs on them
Simply put we have a right to our beliefs. We have a right to believe abortion is wrong and vote accordingly. We have a right to believe and state that same-sex marriage is immoral. We have a right to believe that men do not belong in a lady’s room. Just as others have the right to believe we are wrong. Neither of us have the right to impose our beliefs on others.
We have the right to believe as we believe. It is guaranteed by the First Amendment. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion and that the government can not impose its beliefs on us.
This is a right that millions of men have fought for over the course of our history and too many have died defending our freedoms from the likes of Hitler in World War II and communists during the Cold War.
Not only that but we each have to face God when we die. No politician will be there to defend us. The New York Times will have no bearing on how we are judged. At the same time those who are critical of Christians will also face God. He will have the final say.

Can Anyone Doubt God Still Does Miracles?

Yesterday, November 8, 2016 a miracle happened in this country with the election of Donald Trump as president. I call it a miracle because it is what so many Christians prayed for. Over and over again I receive emails with prayers related to this election. Christians were deeply concern about the Democratic candidates statement that deep-seated religious beliefs must be changed and turned to God praying for her defeat.
She was supported by the mainstream media and outspent her opponent about 2 to 1. Yet she lost a close election in the Electoral College. So many people told me they could not vote for Trump because of his rudeness, appeal to bigotry, divisiveness and his sophomoric treatment of women. Yet they were moved to vote for him. God had to be at work; no question about it.
If prayer can change an election so dramatically what would happen if the same Christians prayed for the conversion of this country? Would God not answer those prayers if we prayed as intensely as long as necessary.
We don’t need the mainstream media. This election proves the power of social media. We can push this idea via the Internet.
Pray in whatever way you feel most comfortable for the conversion of this nation and pass this message on. Post it as often as possible.

An Open Letter To John O’Brien Of Catholics For Choice

Exactly what qualifies you to speak for the Catholic Church on abortion and conscience. You basically stated that the unpopularity of the church’s position on contraception proves that it is wrong. Have you even read the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 7 verses 13-14? “ Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”. These are the words of Jesus Christ.

Where in the gospels or Bible does it say that the Church is supposed to be popular? When was Jesus concerned about popularity? Didn’t He warn us that we would be rejected because of our beliefs?

Verse 15 also applies. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Might those words not apply to you, Nancy Pelosi, Tim Kaine and Joe Biden?

The purpose of the Church is to lead people to salvation to help them find the narrow gate and reach heaven. It can not change its teachings to please the crowd or satisfy a political party. They have to be true to the teachings of Christ and the Bible.

I find your statements about conscience interesting because I spent over 40 years in Catholic schools as both a student and teacher and have been privileged to know several clergy and sisters who followed their conscience to do what was right. Some went to march at Selma. Others were arrested in protest of the Vietnam War and President Reagan’s nuclear policy. Others helped illegal immigrants who fled the death squads in El Salvador. They followed their conscience and opposed what they believed were unjust government policies. Following this tradition and that of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More shouldn’t we be following our conscience and resisting the abortion policies of our government rather than supporting them.

You talk about individual conscience but have you actually read what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says about conscience. It is incredibly easy. All you have to do is google Catechism of the Catholic Church and one of the choices it gives you is Catechism of the Catholic Church 1776. 1776 is the first paragraph related to conscience. You ought to actually read it and I invite you and everyone who may read this to actually read it.

Take a good look at paragraphs 1790 and 1791. They read as following: 1790 A human being must always obey the certain judgment of his conscience. If he were deliberately to act against it, he would condemn himself. Yet it can happen that moral conscience remains in ignorance and makes erroneous judgments about acts to be performed or already committed.

1791 This ignorance can often be imputed to personal responsibility. This is the case when a man “takes little trouble to find out what is true and good, or when conscience is by degrees almost blinded through the habit of committing sin.”59 In such cases, the person is culpable for the evil he commits.

They are talking about erroneous judgment. It is much more likely for you to be wrong about abortion than the Catholic Church and you personally, your organization, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Tim Kaine are responsible for misleading and deceiving many Catholics about the Church’s teachings. The Church has been clear on its teachings related to life issues but you get much more coverage than our bishops.

Again who are you to speak for the Catholic Church? To me you’re no better than Cardinal Woolsey who betrayed the Church and helped Henry VIII to take England out of the Church. Over the centuries hundreds of thousands of Catholics have given their lives for the Church you have betrayed.

Think about that and the fact that God will be the final judge, not the crowd, not Hillary or President Obama.
